Hi,

I received "Unable to authenticate at present (435)" error and I am trying to figure out what might have caused this problem.

Here is the stack trace:

Source: Rebex.Net.Smtp
Stack Trace:
   at Rebex.Net.Smtp.cgrDQE(Int32 , Boolean )
   at Rebex.Net.Smtp.cHoXin(String , String , SmtpAuthentication , GssApiProvider )
at Rebex.Net.Smtp.Login(String userName, String password, SmtpAuthentication method)

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you, Rajat

It seems this is a problem of your SMTP server. Are you able to log into your SMTP server using other client?

In this forum they recommend to reinstall Exim (also here they suggest to do the same).

Hi Lukas,

Thanks for your prompt response. The error was logged multiple times one day few weeks back. It has been working fine since then. We are using the Rebex-SMTP package so I was just wanted to make sure that the error was not one of Rebex-STMP custom errors.
