When I tried the same as explained above, it generated a text file with the content of as 2013-06-25 21:32:34.187 Opening log file. It did not solve my purpose, I need to get the exact reason for the Connection failure and I need Rebex component to write the same log for it. Though we can get network logs from the SMTP Class of the .Net, but it would be better if Rebex generate custom logs/specific logs for the error occurring.
