When I try and ssh.Connect to a server I get the message "The client and the server have no common algorithms." I can connect using PuTTY just fine.

Any ideas? I am a novice at this so it could be something basic, but I have researched and not been able to come up with anything.

Could you please create the log of the communication as described in this article with

Rebex.LogLevel.Verbose

and mail it to support@rebex.net? We should be able to tell what is going on. (You can delete passwords and usernames from the verbose log.)

Since Version 2012 R2, the Rebex SSH supports also hmac-sha1-96 and hmac-md5-96 MAC algorithms.

(An absence of this algorithms caused the problem reported above.)
