Is support contract renewal required?

You don't have to renew the support contract to continue using the component. However you will not be able to download new versions without renewing it.

Each Rebex component license comes with a one year support contract.

With active support contract you are eligible to:

develop applications using the component
distribute the component with your application
download all releases published when the support is active
access to priority support

With expired support contract:

you can continue developing applications using the component
you can continue distributing the component with your application
you can continue downloading all past releases published when the support was active
you will not get priority support
you will not be able to download new versions (released after the support contract end date)
