Hi, if i configure my smtp with gmail after a send i find the message in sent items folder.

If i configure my smtp with exchange i lost the message.

Do you have any idea? Is there some problem with exchange? Best Regards

Some mail servers (such as Gmail) store the message in the "Sent Items" folder automatically, but some don't (such as Exchange). This is not actually a problem with Exchange either - SMTP and IMAP are two different protocols and mailservers are not required to store messages send through SMTP in an IMAP folder. Most mailservers don't.

Please check out this forum post for info about how to store a message in "Sent Items" folders on servers that don't do it automatically.
